Hi Jannel, great question! I think any qualified person who completed the required trainings/schooling/certifications for a job would be taken seriously. In interviews, it's important to rehearse/practice before the real thing so you can show up as your best self. If you have the necessary qualifications and present yourself well, you absolutely will be taken seriously.
