Lawanda’s Answer
For me the most interesting thing about being a medical administrative assistant is satisfying my need to help people. Not only do I help our administrators with needed duties, but I also aid with other areas in the laboratory and hospital. My duties include more than just clerical administrative duties, I also manage the transcriptionist staff, and I also work with the hospital's research department. I work along side the pathologists and medical technicians. My job is continuously changing and evolving, which I like.
