As an OD2 student, what is the best way I can make sure I stay on top of material for the NBEO board exams?
My Part I exam would take place in March 2026.

Optometry board exams are stressful. You need to go into the exam feeling well prepared and confident. There is no easy way to prepare. You should be really understanding the material you are doing in your coursework now. Your professors and school want you to pass boards and are vested in your success.
You have taken many standardized exams to get to where you are. The same advice for tests applies now. Understand what it on the test/which topics are most likely to be covered. Take practice tests. Make a schedule for your studying. Since your third year is clinical, you will have time to study for boards. Focus on reviewing the areas of study that you may have struggled with in your coursework.
If you are the type of student that needs help organizing the material, it may be worthwhile to do a test prep service. I took boards many years ago so these test prep services were not available then so I don't have any specific advice about them.
