Hello Felicia,

As Bailey mentioned before, you can get a CNA job by working in hospitals. You can work as a Student Nurse or Patient Care Associate in a senior home or care center. Being a CNA would allow you to earn income in addition to working. I would likely apply directly at their website as opposed to applying at job sites. In addition, you can get experience working in a healthcare facility if you want to become a nurse in the future.

Best of luck to you with your career search!

Bailey’s Answer

Typically, volunteer facilities won’t let you practice as a CNA, you would need to be working for the company. You can start off by reaching out to facilities that take care of the elderly and see if they have any volunteer opportunities. There are a lot of online platforms that you can volunteer for including crisis hotline. Local hospitals and veteran hospitals should have volunteer resources on their websites. You can also try the Red Cross and Goodwill.
Good luck with everything!
