Josh’s Answer

The work environment of a CNA really depends on where you work. If you work in a hospital-based setting you will work with a team of other CNAs and nurses taking care of multiple patients each shift. You will help patients perform activities of daily living (ADLs), cleaning/bathing/feeding/etc. as needed. You’ll obtain vital signs either manually or with a vitals machine. You’ll also document each patients’ intake and output.
If you work in a nursing home or hospice environment it’s going to look a little different in terms of workload. The collaboration between nurses and other CNAs will be the same and your job duties will basically be the same. Being a CNA is very rewarding! Hope this helps!
