Mike’s Answer

It seems like teamwork and communication are both central skills in nursing. Some others: organizational skills, human compassion, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a good, solid background in math and science. Nursing is hard work, and so very important. It sounds like you're on your way. It's a growing field, according to government statistics, with good job security into the future. The next thing you'll need to think about is obtaining your bachelor's degree in nursing. Good luck to you!

Jim’s Answer

Hi Zitlali, great question. I think you have some great skills for a nursing career. You’ll also need to have a strong understanding of the human body and its systems. In addition, patience and empathy are essential skills for RNs.
