How long have you been in this profession?

I'm a student at Dr. Phillips high and am participating in a Career Express program where we ask questions about potential career paths we want to pursue.

It's great that you are exploring information about careers. How long other people are at a particular career doesn't seem helpful or relevant for your own experience. It's a great question out of curiosity, but career lengths vary for so many different reasons, I hope you return here to ask questions that will provide you with insight for what you want to do.

Your tags indicate that you would like to pursue a career as a Filmmaker ! That is very exciting and wonderful and has a lot to explore. Your career choice is special. To gain foresight into it, you are welcome to return here to ask questions about film schools or colleges for Film, questions pertaining to screenwriting, directing, talent casting, equipment, the collaborative element and things that will help you start actively engaging in your career interest.

It's an exciting and very satisfying career that takes a process to learn, but if you start actively with learning and experience, things will become clear to you about the path and how to make it happen.

Keep exploring and start exploring deeper and more specific. That will be what will make the career more familiar to you !
