To prepare for a career as a sonographer while still in high school, there are no mandatory classes. However, taking subjects like anatomy, physiology, and possibly physics could give you a head start when you start your sonography program.
When you're set to apply for colleges, use the CAAHEP website (https://www.caahep.org/students/find-an-accredited-program) to identify an accredited ultrasound program. Afterward, visit the program's website of the schools you're interested in to understand the prerequisite courses and application procedures.
Mastering the skill of probe manipulation for image capturing can be the most challenging part of your education. It's not an instant skill, and it can feel daunting when your images don't match those of your instructor. But remember, learning is a daily process. So, once you're certified and on the job, embrace the occasional confusion.
You might end up working in a hospital or a clinic. During your schooling, you'll typically get a taste of both settings, helping you decide which environment suits you best.

Try taking science classes such as biology, physics, and some math courses. You should also look into pre-college classes to get the ball rolling
