Is there a lot of down-time working as a pharmacy technician?

I'm at Job Corps entering the pharmacy tech field, and I get the sense the job is fairly laid back. Is my assumption correct?

The busyness of a pharmacy technician can vary based on the specific location. For instance, the two technicians at my local CVS always seem to have their hands full every time I visit.
