Is there a physical therapist willing to do an interview for a school final project?

Hello!
I am currently studying kinesiology. For my final project, I am required to interview a professional in physical therapy or physical therapy assistant to gain insight into their career.

Is anyone willing to conduct an interview with me. The purpose of the project is to learn more about the profession, its daily responsibilities, and potential career paths within the field.

Thank you comment icon I am open to doing an interview if you’d like. I am retired now, but worked in a variety of settings and later was the Chair of a PTA program. Cindy Cynthia Doyle PT, DPT, CCI

Here's a friendly guide to some of the best physical therapists in Chicago you might want to consider for an interview:

First up, we have FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - Garfield Ridge located at 6921 W Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. They are open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday. Plus, they've earned a fantastic 4.9-star rating on Google Maps!

Next, there's PhysioPartners - Loop at 25 E Washington St # 1310, Chicago, IL 60602. Their hours vary throughout the week, so be sure to check them out. They also have a 4.9-star rating on Google Maps.

Lastly, consider Free Body Physical Therapy at 2618 W Division St suite B, Chicago, IL 60622. They are open from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Friday. They've impressed their clients with a perfect 5-star rating on Google Maps.

Now, let's talk about how to ace that interview with a physical therapist:

Start by doing your homework. Understand the various types of physical therapy and the specialties that therapists might have.

Plan your questions ahead of time. This will keep your interview focused and ensure you cover all the bases.

Respect the therapist's time. Keep your questions concise and relevant.

Jot down notes during the interview. This will help you recall key points later.

Don't forget to send a thank-you note after the interview. It's a nice way to express your gratitude for their time.

If you're wondering how to get in touch with these therapists, here are some tips:

Give the clinic a call and ask to speak with the therapist directly.

Shoot an email to the therapist.

Leave a voicemail for the therapist.

I hope this information proves useful! Remember, research and interviewing can be challenging, but you've totally got this!
