How can I prepare for high-school and college in middle school?
Hi my name is Riley and I want to be successful in high-school and college but don't know some of the challenges there are.

First off, naming your desire to be successful is so important! I've worked in middle and high school settings before and will share a few lessons:
1. Try to stay organized. Dedicating a little bit of time each day to organize your materials you are collecting during the day (in a binder, in folders etc.) will save you a LOT of time in the longrun.
2. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Your teachers are there as a source of support- and they don't expect that you know it all on day one. Lean on them and share when you are facing challenges.
3. Manage your time. A weekly/monthly planner can help you keep track of assignments, personal appointments, and stay on top of the commitments you make!
