What are colleges in Massachusetts that have good law-enforcement programs?

I'm a sophomore in high school and looking to pursue a career as a cop when I'm older. I'm from Boston, and am wondering what schools around here have average programs. #police #law-enforcement #cops

UMass has a good CJ program. Some professors are academia and have no "Street Experience" but they are knowledgable non the less. They also have quiet a few retired and current Police instructors that bring experience to the class room. However as we discussed in another conversation string, I highly suggest another type of degree. A CJ degree is not necessary for the job, yes it may help you understand police procedure but that is also learned on the job. Get a degree in something that you would enjoy doing after you retire. A Psych, Business Admin, or Sociology degree would greatly benefit you on the job and in a job once you retire.

Good Luck.
