With my Business degree I found it opened a lot of doors for me as it is fairly general. Initially I worked as an operations/business manager in a dentist office then moved to manufacturing. I am currently in banking. I moved up from line work to management relatively quickly. In terms of starting out you should think about industries you may be interested in. Maybe something in banking or general office management in a smaller office that includes math. There are all kinds of websites out there that give company and job descriptions but I personally like LinkedIN and Glassdoor.

"People major in business and think it means a big paycheck, but it doesn't always,” says Katie Bardaro, lead analyst for online salary database PayScale.com. “It takes a lot of drive, a lot of connections and a lot of luck to get into high-paying fields in business if you have only your bachelor's degree."

Bardaro says students who are more analytical should consider focusing their studies on statistics or financial analysis. Technology and data-heavy industries are likely to continue growing and will have a high demand for business graduates in the immediate future.

Connections also count in the business world. "The best thing to do is to focus on alumni networks," Bardaro says. "Business is definitely an area where connections help a lot."

So what are some high-paying jobs for business majors? We pulled together this list of the top 10. While these jobs aren't restricted to people with only bachelor's degrees, they are all gigs you can get without further education.

To answer the question literally, I don't think many--if any--jobs _require_ a business major in the sense that they wouldn't consider candidates without a business major. The other answers here do indicate the benefits of such a degree. There may be business management jobs that might require or strongly prefer an MBA (masters), but for jobs seeking Bachelor's degree candidates, it's mainly a matter of demonstrating general aptitude for the nature of the job, and the specific major is less important--something that builds analytical AND interpersonal and communications skills would be compatible.
