A comp card is basically your model résumé.
It includes:
A headshot (no black attire)
Full-body, profile, and back shots
All in a natural state (they need to see the real you: face, body, and overall vibe).
3️⃣ How to get those dope portfolio shots:
Work with a designer or photographer who’s also looking to build their portfolio—trade services! You model, they shoot. Everybody wins.
Pro tip: Find a photographer who’s serious about their craft. You’ll get high-quality, polished images that stand out.
4️⃣ Submit Your Portfolio:
Send your portfolio to local or national agencies—choose the ones that align with your goals.
Better yet, attend open calls. This gives agencies the chance to meet you in person, vibe with your personality, and see if you’re a good fit.
