Jenny, I answered this a couple of days ago. Here is my previous answer:
I live and work in Maryland in the USA. A person has to be 18 years old before they can apply for a real estate license. You are required to take 60 hours of instruction and pass an exam to be licensed in Maryland. Each state has its own legal requirements. However, you can gain experience working in a real estate office or with a real estate team handling administrative duties such as checking contracts for completeness, creating marketing information on properties, taking pictures of properties for sale to show them to their best advantage and so on. Thus an internship can help you understand the terminology used by real estate agents and help you gain a good understanding of the forms used in real estate and their purpose prior to getting your license. This will put you well ahead of new agents who have to learn by trial and error, which can be expensive.
Richard recommends the following next steps:
Contact the real estate board in your state for precise licensing information
Contact a local Broker to ask for an unpaid internship.

To start in real estate at a young age, consider options like investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), utilizing real estate crowdfunding platforms, exploring smaller investment strategies like flipping houses, building a strong network, and educating yourself thoroughly on market trends and investment strategies before making any significant commitments.
At this age in your life, education will go a long way. Learn about market analysis, property valuation, legal aspects of real estate transactions, and different investment strategies.
