If someone was to be fired how would that happen and what's the criteria of reasons they could be fired.

Being fired seems awful, how would one be let go? #career #career-development

Thank you comment icon So, in my experience, an employer will typically give an employee various warnings before firing you. I feel like there's this misconception that an employee is entirely replaceable, but that doesn't take into account having to train people. Basically, you have to really not care about your job to get fired (unless there are some unfortunate circumstances). Ethan

Getting fired is not much different than getting kicked out of school. You either did not meet performance standards (you flunked all your classes) or you did something serious to violate company policy (in school similar to getting into a fight, stealing, doing drugs, etc...).

Many times the reasons are related to business not doing well, rather than just the employee performance. I would suggest as a student you not to worry too much about it. These depend on luck since other than performance which Ethan mentioned, it's tough to control.
