I need help to start, where can I begin to study medicine?
I live in the Dominican Republic and u would like to go to nothamton PA to study but I have no idea where to start and I feel like time is on my tail I do not know where to start

1)Research schools in Northampton, PA and Decide on a program or field of study that matches your interests. You can apply as a student with a major that matches your interests. Make sure you apply to atleast 3 schools with a safety school (school with a high acceptance rate)
2)Visit the school's website and look for their "Admissions" or "International Students" pagee and find out the documents you need. They will mostly ask for transcripts and proof of English proficiency. If English is not your first language, you made need to take the english profiency test which is the TOEFL or IELTS
3) Fill out the online application form on the school's website and upload all the required documents. Pay the application fee, if required.
4) Apply for as many scholarships as possible. The earlier you apply, your chances are higher. Any type of financial aid to cover your tuition/living expenses is benificial. Check if there are scholarships or grants for international students.
5) Once you get your acceptance letter, decide on what college gives you the most financial aid and use this acceptance letter to apply for a U.S student visa. Since you are an international student, you might need anstudent visa (F-1/J-1). Book an appointment at the U.S. Embassy in the Dominican Republic and prepare the required documents (passport, acceptance letter, financial proof).
