hey Elia,

Well, being a gymnast coach might not get you a paycheck big enough to buy a mansion, but it does come with priceless rewards like helping athletes flip, twist, and fly through the air. You might earn enough to afford a comfy couch for your post-practice naps... or maybe just a smoothie for your next energy boost after chasing gymnasts around all day! 😄 The real salary comes in high-fives, medals, and watching your gymnasts soar to new heights.
Uh well my humor got me!
I am not a coach but from what I know and heard The salary of a gymnastic coach can vary depending on some factors.
I can tell you this that on avergae in canada (not that I am coaching or anything in canada!)
Entry-level coaches around 26k to 45k dollars a year. (Well it isn't really much but is it your passion? Is it what interests you?)

Now don't get negative, aye!
I mean experienced coaches get more like twice the amount 45k to 65k dollars an year more or less I am not hitting the exact salary.

Also there are the top specialized coaches who earn like 72k dollars or more especially if they coaching in a high demand I mean who wouldnt want Bella Karolyi to coach them! (I don't know if i-I am broke) 🤡
Ah remeber too Elia that pay also can differ depending where which gym or organization the coach works an also whether the coach work part time or full time.
Good luck and hope I hit a mark with my answer. Like if i had do gymnastic i will be sure to bring my ladder I need to take my skills to a higher level!!😎 have fun along the way Elia!

Thank you comment icon Great insight, Dr! To add on, coaches at higher levels may also receive bonuses, travel stipends, or opportunities to teach private lessons, which can boost their earnings. Salary can vary based on factors like location, gym type, and whether the position is full-time or part-time. Overall, while the salary might not be massive, the fulfillment from seeing athletes succeed makes the role very rewarding. Sir Flyer

Sir’s Answer

The salary of a gymnastics coach can vary widely depending on factors like location, experience, level of coaching, and the type of gym or organization they work for. Here's a general idea:

1. Entry-Level Coaches: For someone starting out, a gymnastics coach can earn anywhere from $20,000 to $35,000 per year, especially at recreational gyms or in smaller towns.

2. Experienced Coaches: With more experience, especially at the competitive level (like coaching elite or national athletes), salaries can range from $35,000 to $60,000 per year.

3. Top-Level Coaches: Highly experienced coaches working at prestigious gyms or with top-tier gymnasts may earn $60,000 or more per year, and in some cases, even higher with bonuses or additional revenue from personal training.

Remember, many gymnastics coaches also supplement their income with private lessons, summer camps, or by working with multiple gyms.

The salary can also differ if you're coaching full-time versus part-time, and in larger cities, the pay tends to be higher.
