Hello, Please can I ask about your website. I'm a young adult who has just finished further education - sports science. I'm now seeking to expand upon this for various reasons & I've been seeking a website to advertise myself in effect yet it seems to be a struggle to find such a site. I'm seeking to advertise myself not only in the UK but internationally for digital online work such as transcribing or such like. At the moment I am currently studying to gain a secondary language - Spanish via edX also. Any advice would be most welcome.
Main aim is for my CV, I want to appeal to international stages and organizations.
One issue is here in the UK the education and work system especially if your on sick leave or such is very difficult due to our poor infrastructure

Hello Martinez,
You're on the right road by learning Spanish and seeking international work actually. Since you want to market yourself globally for digital/remote roles like transcribing, I am gonna give you a little how you can boost your visibility, improve your CV, and attract international opportunities.
Firstly, Build a Strong Online Presence
To get noticed internationally, you need an online profile that showcases your skills, experience, and availability.
.... LinkedIn – Create a professional profile and list “Freelance Transcriptionist” (or your chosen role) in your headline. Connect with industry professionals.
... Upwork / Fiverr – Create profiles on these platforms to offer transcription, proofreading, or virtual assistant services.
... PeoplePerHour / Freelancer – These UK-based platforms also connect you with international clients.
.... ProZ.com – If you're learning Spanish, this site is great for translation/transcription jobs.
.... Create a Personal Website – Use Wix, WordPress, or Carrd to showcase your skills, testimonials, and a portfolio.
Next Step: Start posting on LinkedIn about your learning journey, transcribing practice, or insights about language learning.
Secondly, Optimize Your CV for International Jobs
Your CV needs to stand out globally and be ATS-friendly (Applicant Tracking System).
... Keep it Clear & Simple – Use a clean format with no fancy fonts or images.
.... Highlight Remote Work & Skills – Even if you don’t have experience yet, list skills like attention to detail, language proficiency, and accuracy that matter in transcription work.
... Use Keywords – Many companies use software to scan CVs. Include terms like “transcription,” “remote work,” “multilingual,” and “audio-to-text.”
.. Add International Exposure – Mention any courses, certifications, or collaborations with people outside the UK.
