I am on the 12th grade and I should expect when working in a clinic as an orthodontist?

I plan on going to the medical field this one in particular and I don’t have any experience on it. I am a friendly person, I enjoy talking and listening to people, reading etc .

With the field I am in, when it comes to clinical, it will be a lot of paperwork. Make sure you document everything! When insurance payments go through for tooth removal or root canals, the insurance will want the proof of what is done to make sure they are paying the right price. Stay on top of billing, that is a big problem with dental offices, where they may be behind and someone will get hit with a bill. Then they call you mad and complain. Never let them get the best of you, some people just complain to complain so you could put the phone down and walk away and come back they will still be going. And bet advice, everyone's favorite subject is themselves, so if you have a patient who isn't so friendly, ask them about themselves. They will go on and on . Good luck !

Ruth’s Answer

I do not have experience in working in orthodontics, but I have had internships and volunteered my time before. Always come in with a smile and a positive attitude. Do not be afraid to open up about your dreams and any challenges you are experiencing. Take notes on anything you are taught, and do not be afraid to ask questions.
