Hi Alexander,

The popularity of college majors varies by institution, but some consistently rank high due to their broad applicability and strong career prospects. Business Administration is versatile, covering management, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Psychology offers insights into human behavior for careers in counseling, therapy, research, and HR. Biology is chosen for healthcare, research, or environmental science careers. Computer Science is in demand for programming, software development, AI, and cybersecurity. Engineering spans mechanical, civil, electrical, and chemical disciplines, appealing to problem-solvers and innovators. Whichever you choose is a good option!

Thank you for your question. Different people have different interests. That's reason the colleges offer wife range of courses. The mist important is to find out what you have interest.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Think about what you have interest, eg hobbies, favourite subjects, etc and identify the related careers
Eg if you like music, would you like to be a musician, singer, musical artist, music composer, music producer, etc
If you have interest in maths, would you like to be an accountant, engineer, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Thomas’s Answer

Being fully transparent here. Don't go into a field because it's "popular." If you don't like what you're doing, it won't matter how "popular" the field is- you will hate your work. Go into something you're INTERESTED in. If you like STEM go into STEM. If you like art then go into art. Popularity contests end in high school. Worry more about what you're interested in, and where you want to go to school.
