How do I stand out in the CIS job market without internship experience?
I’m currently in my last semester as a Computer Information Systems (CIS) student with a focus on Data Analytics, and I’m worrying about my career after graduation. I’ve completed coursework on statistical analysis, data visualization, and database management, and I have experience with tools like SQL and Python.
However, as an international student, I didn’t have any luck finding internships during my college career.
How can I leverage my academic experience to stand out in the competitive job market, especially with no extensive internship or professional experience? Are there any certifications or additional skills I should be pursuing to enhance my job prospects?
