Hi Akorede,

Since you already have a solid background in medical rehabilitation, you can definitely study it as an international student! With two years of physiotherapy expertise and a background in psychosocial rehabilitation, you bring a special and useful perspective that many programs will value. For someone like you who is enthusiastic about both the psychological and physical facets of healing, medical rehabilitation is a fantastic fit.

When submitting an application, you should seek out colleges that grant degrees in medical rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or rehabilitation sciences. International and transdisciplinary students are frequently accepted into these programs. Strong rehabilitation science programs can be found in nations like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia; just be sure to verify the exact entry requirements, particularly with relation to your prior training and work experience.

Additionally, you might want to look into postgraduate diplomas or bridge programs, which can help you complete the academic requirements while enhancing your present skill set. Also, don't be afraid to get in touch with university admissions offices directly; they can offer you advice on any necessary supplementary courses or credit transfers.

Your background and enthusiasm provide a strong basis. Continue on, you're headed in the right direction to have a significant influence on people's recovery processes!

Best wishes!
