The need for therapists is set to rise a lot over the next ten years. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says jobs in mental health fields will grow quicker than most other jobs. For example, jobs for substance abuse, behavioral disorder, and mental health counselors are expected to go up by 18% from 2022 to 2032. Jobs for psychologists are also expected to grow by 7% from 2023 to 2033, which is faster than average. This growth is happening because more people are aware of mental health issues and there is more demand for mental health services in places like outpatient centers, hospitals, and residential facilities.
