How do I decide what college is best for me coming out high school?
I am a 18 year old senior in high school, I plan on majoring in biology to pursue my career as a Biomedical Technician. As of now I haven't decided what school to attend as far as community or university. I have a 4.0 GPA, but it's hard to know what college benefits me financially and academically.

Figure out what you prioritize in your biology career such as, what are your strengths? Being able to be in the laboratory, create new studies that can reshape public healthcare, or assist in the process of biomedicine research. For example, UC San Diego is a research university focused on technology, medicine, and groundbreaking research. There has been renovation and added buildings for pre-medicine solutions for patient human-centered services. If you are certain about what culture the university you want to join has in terms of their approach to education have 3 dream universities that you can see how much support they offer financially, consider what are their tutoring services like that is very crucial to success in your biology degree, and community college would be an option to refine your skillset or determine where you want to transition Cal State Universities are also a great choice for saving money and still getting a great concentration.
