What is the best way to pay for college without a credit-worthy cosigner?
I am a sophomore in college, and I am just curious on the best way to pay for college. I am a theatre major, and I don't have a cosigner who has good enough credit. I am really looking for advice on scholarships/grants/etc.. Congratulations on being in your sophomore year in school-your definitely on your way to fulfilling your dreams! When I was in college, I was able to get state grants to help pay for tuition. I recommend reaching out to your financial aid office and your theatre department as well as online resources for college funding for theayre/acting majors. There are also may be work study programs that can assist you with tuition. Good luck on your studies and all the best in your career.

Hi Adrian! First off let me say congrats on following your heart and pursuing music.
Most states have grants that will pay for credits. Check with the financial aid office to see what your state offers.
Some schools will offer a work program where you can wok off some of your credits. Again, check with you local financial aide rep.
Lastly, good ole fashion hard work. It sounds difficult and it is. However, it is so rewarding to know that you worked hard for what you wanted. I used a combination of the three :)
if its worth having, it is yours. Don’t give up and follow your heart!

Hello, Adrian!
The best way you can pay for college is through scholarships/grants.
Another way you may consider paying for college includes enlisting in the army.
Once you are eligible to leave the army, the army will pay your college tuition.
Of course if you decide to enlist in the army, you will need to file an educational leave with your university.
Please meet with a Financial Aid Counselor at your university to discuss options for paying your college tuition.
Good luck with your personal, educational, and professional endeavors!
Best regards,
Kortnee B.
