How do I start applying for grants? #Spring25

When learning about scholarships and free money for college I was recommended to start applying for grants.

Grants are often given based on financial need, while scholarships can be awarded for achievements. No matter what, make sure to apply for both to get the most support possible. It's a great idea to get a book from your local bookstore or borrow one from the library about scholarships. There are books available providing information about various scholarships offered by various organizations. You can also try to search websites of big corporations, Banks/credit unions, labor unions, parents' workplace, local religious places, etc. Good Luck.
