I'm not an expert on the topic of sports management but I'd recommend studying marketing or management in college! A lot of universities offer elective courses in sports management, or sports marketing. Getting courses like this under your belt will be a good asset, and can help you gain an internship with a sports team which can help launch a career in sports management.
