Should I start work during my first semester or wait till second semester?
I was assigned work study as part of my financial aid but I’m debating waiting till second semester so I can get a grasp of college first. Should I do that instead? #Work #study

Your first semester at college can be very challenging + it is a big life transition period. If you can financially, it would be ideal not to work, but if that causes you more financial stress I would seek a job that you can do and study for school at the same time (like sitting at the gym front desk, you can do school work and get paid + meet new folks!)

It is smart to wait until second semester to start looking for a job. I would advise to only get a job first semester if you are not getting financial support from family at all.
