Nicholas’s Answer

Hey Brianna!
I am a big fan of studying at night! I find that during the day, it can be difficult to not get distracted!

I personally also make sure that for every 10 minutes looking at a screen, look at an object 10 ft away for 10 seconds (10-10-10 method) This is to preserve your vision during long study sessions!

I would also recommend time blocking and choosing time to work and time to relax!

Also! Take naps, it will help you stay fresh and help with retention! I AM A NAP ADVOCATE

Nicholas recommends the following next steps:

Use the 10-10-10 Method
Time-Block
Nap Time!

Shipra’s Answer

The following answers are great! Something that helped me as well was identifying what type of a learner I was and what emphasized my strengths the best, whether it be visual, auditory, reading/writing, or kinesthetic! It becomes helpful to apply whichever works best for you into your study habits.

Jeremy’s Answer

hey Brianna !
Personally when it comes to studying I like to break up my work into small chunks. I'll study one topic for an amount of time maybe around 20 mins. Once that topic is somewhat engrained in my head i'll move onto my next topic. After the second topic I would go back to the first and second topic and try to understand all the material together. Try not burn yourself out in a single study session by going overboard. Being organized and knowing when you will study what topic really helps. I would try using apps like Google Calendars to organize all of your work.

hope this helps you out :)

Marsha’s Answer

Organization is the key. Surround yourself with peers who are successful. Set  a goal along with planning how to get there.

Marsha recommends the following next steps:

Ready and use index cards Use accountability partner to help each other study.
Eat a hearty breakfast before you study.
Listen to meditation music to clear your mind before you study.
Turn off extra devices that can destract you. Stay off social media while studying. Social media is a time robber.
Reward yourself with a few hours of "Me time".
