What majors should I take in college in order to be a successful architect?
I am currently a junior in high school and in a couple of months I will start the application process in order to get into my selected colleges. However, I am not sure what other majors I should take in college in order to become a very successful architect. So far I am thinking of taking a lot of math courses but I know that becoming an architect will take more than just.

Did you decide to study architecture? I actually always liked architecture but chose a college based off of the architecture and design of the campus and chose a school without an architecture design... weird I know... I changed my major a lot, graduated in finance and then worked bunch of odd jobs so I could just travel a lot... then settled a bit and got an interior design job for a millwork company then consulted doing Revit for 3D models construction documents at different architecture firms, long enough that I eventually got hired to be an architect... the long way but I’m only 31 and really good at what I do since I worked in so many different types of architecture, millwork and interior design. So my advice, just make sure you’re learning about something in the design and architecture world eventually. :)

I just noticed this question from 18m ago that didn't have any answers. By now, you're probably 1/2 way done with your degree.
I'd assume the best college prep for this profession would be to get a degree in Architecture. https://www.architecturalrecord.com/articles/14289-americas-top-architecture-schools-2020 has a list of top schools as does https://www.architectmagazine.com/practice/professional-development/the-top-10-undergraduate-architecture-schools-in-the-us_o.
