It definitely wouldn't hurt, but it's not something you need to get into nsg school or be out in the work field.

I believe it would possibly benefit you should you decide to go into psych nsg.

Hi Angela,
It isn't particularly a requirement but I believe that patient care is related to psychology in a way. Psychology would definitely help you gain more perspective on patients and the way they think. It would also help understand how to become more compassionate, caring, and empathetic towards patients.
