What are some great internships for agribusiness majors ?

I unfortunately don't work in agribusiness, but hopefully this advice might still be helpful?

I suggest:

(1) Look up people in the agribusiness industry on LinkedIn - you can search by people who currently work for agribusiness companies? Or just people who work in fields you're interested in (agribusiness related) and just send them a message via Linkedin! Tell them your name, how old you are, how hard you'd work, and why you're super excited to learn about their field and how they got their first jobs. Ask them who gave them their first job or internship opportunity, what networks they might have used, if they know anyone hiring, what were the best experiences they got, what are the internships they recommend for you, and if they'd be willing to help coach you into an internship!

Also try looking for career fairs and agribusiness meet-ups or networking events in the area (through eventbrite.com or other sites like that) and see what people you can meet! Practice your story ahead of time: why you're interested in agribusiness, how they got into agribusiness, and ask them if they know anyone who might be looking for an intern!
