Richard’s Answer

Directly out of college a masters degree could get you $10k-20k more a year than a bachelors degree. However, a lot of times the most valuable thing is the extra project experience some students get during their master's program. For example, if you are able to work on a project with a professor for 1-2 years in the bachelors or masters program that is relevant to the work in the job you are applying for after you graduate, then the company could consider that career work experience which is significant early in your career.

Eva’s Answer

It will vary depending on what type of engineer, who you work for, experience level and location. To get a feel for it, there are a number of websites that give general averages, i.e. glass door, salary.com, etc
