CJ’s Answer

The question would be is it causing an issue for you? Are you missing deadlines, not achieving at a high level, not producing quality work? Some people actually perform better under levels of stress which is why some procrastinators are actually very successful. Now if procrastinating for you leads to other issues then it's always a good idea to keep and maintain list of task that are upcoming i.e. stay organized and set short term goals to check off.

Thomas’s Answer

This is what I would tell myself.
1. Put your phone down.
2. Write out what needs to be done.
3. Think about how satisfying it will be to get this out of the way.
4. Do the work.
5. Get back to your friends.

Savannah’s Answer

Hi! There is alot of study habits you can learn. You can time-manage you time wisely by taking breaks while you do school so you will keep being motivated and you will still get to do the things you love but also get your work done. Even though doing something you enjoy can be good but also doing what you are supposed to is good too. You can also make a list and put everything you need to get done and highlight the things you need to get done today and if you complete those and still have extra time try to get more done. If you teachers assign something that day try to do it even though it is due in a few days so you won't stress out about not getting it done. If you teacher gives you a project and its due in a few weeks try to get it done in one week so it will be done and all ready. Hope this help and you can learn study skills, i know it!

Rosti’s Answer

Try getting a todo app. Check on your Apple / Android appstore. Break apart the big things into little todo's.

Also try to make your bed in the morning - it sounds funny but watch this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_3sd_KxSMg

Karen’s Answer

Because you are asking this question, you've already taken the first step. Being aware of when you procrastinate and having a good reason not to should help. Start with little steps.

Karen recommends the following next steps:

Make a list of two things you need to get done in the next week and write down when you will have them done. Check your list each day to be sure you accomplish this. If this doesn't work, try giving yourself an incentive such as if I complete my first task on time I will reward myself with XXX.
Think about the impact your procrastination has on others and your own reputation. Of course, you don't want to be known as someone that others can't depend on. So think about your family or best friend and take that extra step to be on time or complete a task for them.
Remind yourself that it's all up to you and you have the ability to change this habit. I believe you will be glad you did in the future! With every good wish.

Jonathan’s Answer

From personal experience the best thing to do is take breaks in between, until you get it done. The biggest thing is committing to finishing something and doing what I mentioned, once you know your ready to start stick to it.
