Janet’s Answer

Aside from writing well and answering the question(s), the key is to tell a personal story. Make it unique and about you. Try to stay away from generalizations like “I’m a hard worker” or “I’m a good student” and use your essay to demonstrate these things.

Bill’s Answer

Tanner,

Relate a personal experience in which you've learned a powerful life lesson. Speak to the person you are and what the college experience will mean to you and your family. Be humble in your tone and grateful for the Boards time and consideration.

Best of luck in your pursuit.
