Hello Emily,
I had never seen such an interesting question. After reading your request, I wanted to look into this and see what research I could pull up. I can only imagine that it would be difficult for a high school student to obtain such training at a young age. However, after some searching, I was able to find some of the following.
The link below provides information on a Summer Program for high schools students. A brief description is also listed here: At the National Student Leadership Conference summer Forensic Science program, high school students unravel a mystery as they conduct an investigation and build a body of evidence. Interact with experts in medicine, law enforcement and the legal profession who will give you an insider’s view into the life of a professional forensic scientist.

The link below provides information for both high school and college students. A brief description follows: A number of exciting opportunities are available for both undergraduate and high school psychology students to get hands-on learning and valuable research experiences in the science of psychology over their summer breaks. Many of these programs have application deadlines soon approaching, so encourage your students to take a look now.

Both links offer opportunities for you to research and see if they provide a good fit for you. I also recommend the following:
- research to see if either is a good fit
- check local colleges/universities in your area to see if they can provide volunteer hours to gain experience in this area
I hope this is helpful to you. Good luck!
