Is it not a good idea to go into college undecided?

I'm not sure what I want to do yet, but should I try to figure it out before I start college? #undecided

It's ok to go to college undecided but you want to make sure the pre requisition classes you take are applicable to the overall field you'd like to go into. Pick a general area of study and start there.

Try an Interdisciplinary, Liberal Studies, or General Studies major, that will let you combine multiple interests. Or an Individually Designed major that you can even name yourself.

Angela M’s Answer

Hello Tasha!

I believe you should still go and take your basic classes because all degrees require those. I have a Senior this year who is going to do these classes at UNG which is a junior college/technical college. You can then decide on a degree as you go. There are also resources available to assess you and based on those answers provide you career path options. Good luck to you!
