Serge V.’s Answer

Hi Veronica,

From my experience when I was a freshman in high school, I had no experience being an adult. Most of my friends from middle school came to high school with me so I had a bit of a comfort zone with my friends. When I was a freshman in college, I was alone and I had to figure things out on my own. I had to be independent and learn on my own. I didn't have my friends for help and this took me out of my comfort zone. It made me more social and more productive because my teachers wasn't on me to make sure my homework was complete. In college, you are responsible for yourself and that builds character. I hope this helps you out. Keep me posted...

Nick’s Answer

That is a great question. My experiences will say a freshman in college is much more self driven than a senior in high school. In college there is far less oversight. Further, if you live on campus your life experiences change significantly.

Vera’s Answer

It is much more freeing. You create your own schedule and are treated as an adult. You have more responsibility to make sure you attend classes and manage your time best.
