1 have two important pieces of advice:


1) Do not go into the arts -- any media -- for the money. The odds of making a living as either an actor or director are against you. You need to go into them for love because you can spend a lifetime never making it big.


2) Spelling counts. In any career, people will judge you on your written communications. Grammar and spelling will play a large part in introducing you to the world. Put your best foot forward.

Thank you comment icon She is correct on both accounts. I would have encouraged you in the second point (your question has a misspelled word). While art is not something to pursue for the wealth, it is something just as noble to pursue as anything else. If you love and have the opportunity to lend your voice to spread a good message, do it.
