I would recommend checking out Goabroad.com or overseas.com. These are my favorite abroad websites. It’s like the yelp of programs. I also recommend possibly checking out Linguistic Horizons, they might have a program that works for you. The founder is name Nicole and she takes her program very seriously. Good luck!

Hello Laniece: For study abroad programs, be sure to speak with the individual college that you will attend to gain information from them directly. Unfortunately, each school is different so I wouldn't be able to give you a specific answer. If you are not currently in college, be sure to visit the study abroad office when you make your college visits to ask this question "Which countries do biology majors travel to for study abroad and what classes do they take there?" You can also ask "which country would you recommend for study abroad for a biology major?" Typically, study abroad programs have a few countries that they partner with for study abroad and they make sure that they are not at war or have any hostile environment that the students might enter. It must be safe. Areas like Mexico have had some big issues lately with Americans traveling there so they might caution you about that. But they will already have a few colleges in a few countries with which they partner. I'd recommend getting the information about cost, to see if it is in your budget, or if financial aid can help. I've worked with student's who had that has a problem. If you are already a college student, but your college doesn't have a study abroad program, ask if you can study with another college abroad, academic affairs should know the answer to this question. Good luck and hope this helped!
