Stephanie’s Answer

Hi,

Colleges do review all applications for scholarships, and take this into consideration when a student applies to do a course. Colleges assess all criteria before accepting your application.

Hello Isabell, receiving scholarships should not affect your applications to the college itself.

It may affect what loans and financial aid packages are available but in terms of getting into the college, your application should not be affected. Here’s a link to where it talks about how your aid packages may change:

Personally, my scholarships I received had no affect on my applications to the college itself.
