Hi Cierra

While I have not recruited specifically for professionals with laboratory science experience, I have found that the best way to find out about any career is to go online and ask. I used Google. Here is what I found so far to get you started. If you look at multiple sites look for consistencies in what they say. This should help you feel more comfortable that the information you are reading is pretty accurate.

Hope this helps. Feel free to reach back out.

Carol

‘Tae’s Answer

Hello Cierra-
I have worked in the Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety arena at a large contract research organization over the past 14 years. I work with a lot of certified MLTs and nurses. As a MLT, you also have the option or working in clinical research as a drug safety specialist. There are great opportunities for career growth and development as well. Typically, just a few years of lab experience is required for the entry level positions. I would research the role further on the internet as there’s lots of information out there and the salary is pretty decent also.
Best of luck!
Bettae
