Besides passion a great place to start is cosmetology school. After that go to as many shows and take as many classes as you can. This is an industry where you never stop learning.

Cosmetology school is the base to your career and opens the doors. You will learn different skills where you can decide which skills you posses and which skills you are interested in pursuing.
