Some things I think may help prepare for law school are:
1) joining a speech and debate team
2) practicing your public speaking skills whenever you can
3) work in a law office just so that you can be exposed to the practice
4) speak to as many lawyers as you can so you can get an idea of the different types of work there is
5) work on your reading and writing skills
6) work on your organization and time management.
Best wishes!

My wife is an attorney. She majored in History in college. She felt like the writing required for History helped her later in law school when so many were out of practice. Or if you are referring to taking the LSAT, definitely get a practice book and take a review course for the test.

Hi Linda! It is great to hear that you are interested in attending law school and becoming lawyer. When I was in college I found it really helpful to get a part time job as a legal assistant at a law firm. I was able to see what my future job would be like, and get great experience on my resume. I highly recommend pursuing a part time job or internship within a law firm or legal team at a company. Good luck!
