What are the best undergraduate degrees, before going into a DVM program?

Vet schools are very competitive the hardest part is getting in so take a course you are interested in and can do well in. Additionally do lots of relevant work experience at vets on farm/stables.

Biochemistry or a specific prevet course will probably give you the best foundation for the vet course but really it's about experience and demonstrating ability. Plus a great entrance exam result

For veterinarians, animal science and biology degrees are good to study. Zoology is also a good degree to study, but I believe the first listed degrees are more important.

Health science is a very important degree to study. It teaches you how to identify, study, and treat people and animals with bad health.
