What sort of classes do you need to take?

I want to pursue a career in Architecture and would like to know what sort of classes and I should look into for the near future. #architecture #futurecareer

Classes that will help you that I wish I had taken in high school were physics and calculus. Autocad and architecture courses that are offered in high school were a great basis for me. Also if your school offers structures, that would also be great to have a basic knowledge of.

You could prepare by taking advanced math courses, but I'd recommend getting your hands on architecture design software and practice building concepts. See if there is a design competition that you can participate in and submit entries. Some of these might even be part of a scholarship program if you're lucky. Most of your architecture work will involve the latest software someday, so the earlier you become familiar, the better. If there are any architecture networking events, I'd recommend attending them.
