Sujeesh’s Answer

When I observed many photographers, in the beginning they were not focused on money. They were improving the quality and variety on their frame. Eventually they started earning money.

Photography is an art with light. Once you proved your space in this art then no need to look back. Because all wanted to see either their beautiful or other lovely images.

Jordan’s Answer

The fact is that the average photographer does not make a lot of money. Most photographers make about $30,000 a year. Of course, top photographers can make hundreds of thousands of dollars each year. There are some photographers who top one-million dollars.

But it all depends on how well you are at it!

Hope this helped :)

Bob’s Answer

The annual salary varies depending upon many factors such as your location, experience, market for your services, type of photography, freelance or corporate as well as many other factors. Websites such as payscale.com give a fairly accurate estimate. In today's market with cell phone cameras and inexpensive point and shoot cameras, a photographer must carve out a specialty.

David’s Answer

Hi Britney,

I'd say the scale runs from nothing to hundreds of thousands of dollars. It all depends on you: how good are your images, how well do you market yourself and what genre of photography do you pursue.
