Hi Jacqueline,
If you are or will be working directly with clients, one general advise I can give is to develop a list of typical questions you will ask your clients to understand their situation and their fitness/wellness goals. The more you can carefully listen to your clients, the better you will be able to help guide them on a journey to reach their own goals.

You have to put yourself in the fitness environment. You will have to learn about your own body and health. Once you figure that out, you can start to work your way to understand fitness.
