I can say exploiting all the fields in the sciences is going to provide a greater need for future employment. Determining which of the different areas suit you best will allow you to also enjoy your choices among the various and obvious benefits.
If you have interests in caring for ill people, providing comfort then I would say nursing, medical doctor, pharmacist, etc will be good start and once you acquire your first professional degree, you can determine which exact area would like pursue further.
The reasons are myriad; however the first reason is there is always going to be a constant and high need for health care professionals.
Good luck :-)

There are many excellent careers out there. One of the important factors in choosing a career is finding something you are interested in. What are your favorite subjects? Interests? Hobbies?
There is an online website that asks you questions about your interests and then suggest certain careers based on your results. Here is a link: http://www.mynextmove.org/explore/ip
You can also take a look at the Occupational Outlook Handbook on the Bureau of Labor Statistics website:
http://www.bls.gov/ooh/
On the Bureau of Labor Statistic website you can find all kinds of information on careers like average pay for certain jobs or how quickly certain industries are growing.
The best advice I can give you is to try to look for something you really enjoy because people spend about half their day at work. If you enjoy your job you will more likely be much happier with your life in general.
